Our Music Sucks

So I decided to start a new site for music that I make with friends. It’s a little different we aren’t a band, the music is bad and not really written.

The Idea is to make music for the sake of making music, not for the end result but for the enjoyment of the process. And instead of posting those songs here I created a fake band called “Our Music Sucks.”

My choice to do this was because I wasn’t writing enough songs and when I did I wouldn’t finish them because they didn’t meet my standards for various reasons. With Our Music Sucks the idea is to make a song in a day (or at least close to a day) and not worry about whether the lyrics are any good or the performance is up to scratch, and just finish it.

Probably the best way to explain this is to share the first song I did with a friend.  We started by just pitching lines to each other and writing them down regardless of how cheesy or silly they were.I then played a chord progression I like that I hadn’t found a use for yet, while he sang the lyrics and developed a quick vocal melody. We immediately recorded what we had then added drums, bass and another vocal part. I spent about an hour editing the song and adding effects and had the song online just a few short hours after staring at a blank page wondering what to write about thinking “I can’t write a song , I don’t know shit about fuck”.

The end product is probably only good for a minute or two of very dull giggles but the day we spent making it was great fun and worth repeating.

Oh, shit my CAPS were on, my bad.

So I reheated some special fried rice and the peas were all dry and tasted awful.

Idiot Facebook users protest enhancements.

So these arsehats don’t like that facebook changed to a new layout that makes it look nicer and adds some functionality.

Yes the new layout makes it initially harder for you to find somethings but learn it retards its been months.

Anywho these folks think it’s a good idea to not use facebook for a day to show they don’t like it. What I find interesting is that of the 7 million people invited to this protest about 3 min think the idea is stupid, a little over 2 million don’t give 2 clicks, about a million don’t know if they’ll be able to break the handcuffs they put on to stop them using facebook and the 900,000 retards who cannot manage to click a few links to find out where their vampire app went, will spend the day writing “first” on youtube videos.
